often, as we’re brewing ideas for campaigns, collaborations and other creative endeavors, one of our team members will come across a vintage advertisement or photo that inspires a particular project. such was the case with our new bicycle, created in partnership with the nyc boutique bike shop adeline adeline. taking a cue from this 1960’s woman’s day ad, we pictured our girl in a swingy summer dress pedaling through the streets of soho on her custom, kate spade new york green abici bicycle. given that her cargo will probably be slightly smaller than the toddler in the ad, we’ve also designed a special essex scout satchel and bay street quinn she can clip to the handlebars and rear rack. our limited edition, single speed, two-wheeler will be available in early april at kate spade new york shops and at adeline adeline where it is already prominently ensconced in the window.
